Sweet Corn Cob Saw

For cutting of tip and tail for the standard length or reguired lengths as cobette and madallion of the unhusked/husked sweet corn cobs, carrots and etc. as manually fed.

Capacity is depending on operators` feeding efficiency. Up to 120/160 ears/min. by three/four experienced operators.

• Construction made in AISI 304 stainless steel.

• Chain conveyor with cylindrical plastic attachments driven by a motoreducer to transport of the products into cutting chamber.

• Product feeding section length of the conveyor is approx. 2,7meter (108”).

• Circular saws with diameter of approx. 30cm (12”) driven by a single motor with brake.

• Tip and tail cutting (trimming) is done by two pieces of saws and the third saw can be added buy customer to cut two parts.

• Net lengths of the cut or trimmed sweet corn cob/carrot length can be adjusted by customer.

• Water spray nozzles for cutting chamber and chains against starch.

• Laser line markers for aligning the length of the products to be trimmed.
